One number. One rectangle. Everything in its place.

Room for every number.

  1. Cover every square with non-overlapping rectangles. Squares count as rectangles too.
  2. Each rectangle must contain exactly one printed number. Its area, counted in grid squares, must equal that number. A 2 × 3 rectangle has area 6.
  3. In tap mode, choose two opposite corners. For a 1 × 1 rectangle, tap the same square twice. A second identical rectangle removes it. Overlapping rectangles are rejected without changing the board.
  4. Turn Drag on to draw from one corner to the other. Dragging outside the board or an interrupted gesture cancels it. Turn Drag off to scroll inside wider boards. The read-only Overview shows the whole board without shrinking tap targets.
  5. Select a covered square and choose Remove rectangle, or use Delete. Orange rectangles marked ! do not yet have exactly one number matching their area. No warning is not a guarantee that a placement belongs in the final solution.

Keyboard: Tab into the board, arrows to move, Enter or Space to select corners. Home and End move within a row. Escape cancels a corner or drag. Delete or Backspace removes the focused square’s rectangle. Focus is visible.

The last 128 edits are kept for Undo. Restart clears this attempt but retains previous completion and your best result. Best counts rectangle additions, removals and Undo in a completed attempt. There is no timer.

Current-board completion is checked after every change. “Completed before” is separate history, not a claim that the current board is solved.

Progress uses a new, separate IndexedDB database. Other games’ progress is never read, changed or migrated. Saving failures are visible. Tab-only play never reconnects or copies temporary progress back. Refresh/close can lose pending edits; browser warnings and crash durability are not guaranteed.
