Read row clues left to right and column clues top to bottom. Each number is a consecutive group of filled squares; leave at least one empty square between groups. A zero means the line is empty.
Playable cells stay 44 px wide. Scroll sideways on a small screen; row clues remain visible. “View whole board” is a read-only overview. Return to large cells to edit.
Tab to the board, then move with arrow keys. F fills, X marks, and Delete or Backspace erases. Enter or Space applies the selected tool. Home and End move to the start or end of the row.
“Find a line” and “Explain this line” use only row or column clues and your current marks, not the hidden solution. An explanation compares every compatible arrangement for that line. It never places a mark, removes a mistake, changes history or awards completion.
If no arrangement fits, that line conflicts with the clues, but the explanation does not identify which mark is wrong. A compatible line does not prove that the entire puzzle is solvable from the current marks.
The list contains 24 puzzles per page: 11 pages overall, or four pages in each 84-puzzle group. Final pages contain 12. First, Last, page jump and Show current puzzle only browse the list. The native selector only prepares a choice. Only the separate Play selected button changes the puzzle. Cancel choice, Close or Escape on this page clears the prepared choice; cancelling the native popup cannot change the board.
Pressing Play selected waits for pending saves and reads the target puzzle. You can cancel before its selection save starts. Once that save is issued, closing is disabled until it settles; cancelling cannot undo an issued save.
These are fixed abstract logic studies generated offline, not pictures or levels generated during play. Short-chain, linked-chain and extended-chain labels describe solver proof depth, not measured human difficulty.
The original 67 puzzles and these additional 252 are two libraries of the same Nonogram game. Their saved boards, completion records and current-puzzle selections are separate. This page does not load, import or change the original library’s saved progress. No combined completion count is shown.
Additional progress is kept in this browser when its storage is available. There is no account or cross-device sync. Clearing site data, storage pressure or browser eviction can remove progress in either library. A different library is not a separate storage quota or security origin.
Normal same-tab links wait for confirmed saves. If saving fails, this page stays open with the draft. Browser Back, closing a tab, mobile suspension and force quitting can only receive a best-effort warning; no save-on-close guarantee is possible. Keep a tab with unsaved progress open, or open the other library in a new tab.
Retry checks the saved state before replaying an uncertain write. Conflicting saved progress is not silently overwritten; you can explicitly discard unsaved attempts and reload the saved records. “Continue tab-only” waits for already-issued saves to settle and keeps known drafts in temporary memory. An issued save may already have committed. Tab-only progress is lost on refresh or close, and is not automatically copied back.
You can revisit any of the 252 puzzles or reset a completed puzzle to replay it. No further additional levels are implied.
