How to play Klondike Solitaire
A draw-one Klondike table with seven columns and four foundations. Start with a fixed level or choose a random deal from the level picker.
- Build each foundation from Ace to King in its matching suit.
- Build columns down by one rank, alternating red and black. Move a face-up card or a correctly ordered sequence. Only a King can fill an empty column.
- Draw one card from the stock at a time. When the stock is empty, recycle the waste and draw again.
- Clear all 52 cards into the foundations to finish.
Controls
- Drag a face-up card or sequence to a legal destination, or select it and tap the destination. Tap the selected card again to cancel.
- To foundation moves a selected card when a legal foundation move is available. Tab between buttons and use Enter or Space.
- Undo reverses your last move. How to play includes a Larger cards option with sideways scrolling.
Three fixed levels have verified winning solutions; their difficulty labels are provisional. Random deals can be unwinnable, and hints suggest legal moves rather than a guaranteed winning route. Automatic collection runs only when a complete foundation-only finish has been verified.
